The Cultural Identity and Tourist Awareness in the District of Canta – Peru 2023.

Abstract

The research aimed to analyze the link between cultural identity and tourist awareness in the district of Canta – 2023. It was conducted as a basic type, with a non-experimental design, descriptive correlational scope, and quantitative approach. Likewise, a survey instrument consisting of 12 items was used, with 72 residents surveyed. The survey results were analyzed using the SPSS statistical software. In the bilateral normality test, the p-value was 0.00, indicating significance (<0.05), and the Spearman correlation coefficient was 0.415, revealing a moderate correlation. It was concluded that there is indeed a link between cultural identity and tourist awareness in the district of Canta.
